A Venous Leg Ulcer (VLU) is a chronic wound that develops due to poor blood flow in the veins of the lower leg or ankle. These ulcers may heal slowly and can significantly impact daily life and comfort. This clinical research study is evaluating new approaches to wound care with the goal of improving healing outcomes and patient quality of life.

A Diabetic Foot Ulcer (DFU) is an open wound that develops on the foot of a person with diabetes, most commonly on the sole, toes, or pressure points. DFUs occur due to a combination of nerve damage (neuropathy), poor blood circulation, and impaired wound healing associated with diabetes.
